The Citrix client installation has successfully installed. Click ‘YES” to reboot your system 11. With the Citrix client software installed and the computer rebooted, you are ready! To access the Emory Healthcare Virtual Desktop environment, start Internet Explorer (not Edge) and go to https://workspace.emory.org. Click on blue button titled: Download Citrix Workspace app for Windows. Click down arrow (next to Save) and select Save and Run. Image from phone. You can install the Citrix Workspace app using any of the following methods: Download the Citrix Workspace app from Citrix Downloads. Deploy Citrix Workspace app using workspace for web (configured with StoreFront). Citrix Workspace in the Microsoft Store The Workspace app can be assigned as available for end-users to install via the Intune Company Portal or required for automatic deployment. Once deployed, the Store will take care of updates, thus there is no further action required by the administrator.

This document outlines the process to install the Citrix Workspace App for a Mac computer. The Citrix Workspace app runs the Virtual Applications & Desktops and must be installed on your computer for them to work.

1. Open up your internet browser of choice (we suggest google chrome or safari)

2. Navigate to: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/mac/workspace-app-for-mac-latest.html
3. Click the button labeled 'Download Citrix Workspace app for Mac' to download the installer file.

4. Save the file to your downloads folder (safari does this by default).

5. Navigate to your 'Downloads' folder and double click the CitrixWorkspaceApp.dmg file

6. Double click the 'Install Citrix Workspace' button.

7. Select continue on the 'This package will run a program to determine if the software can be installed' prompt.

8. Click the 'Continue' button on the Welcome to the Citrix Workspace Installer window

9. Click the 'Continue' button on the Welcome to the Software License Agreement window

10. Click the 'Agree' button to agree to the terms of the software license agreement

11. Click the 'Install' button to install to the default location.

12. Type in your Mac Username and Password (not Apple ID username/password) and then click the 'Install Software' button.

13. Leave the check box 'Add Account' unchecked and click the 'Continue' button.


15. Click the 'Move to Trash' button (this will delete the download files to save hard drive space)

16. Citrix Workspace App is now installed on your Mac and is ready to be used

Hi All,

I'm trying to uninstall Citrix Workspace App from a machine where it's installation was unsuccessful. I uninstalled via the Citrix removal tool and I've run through the manual removal procedure for Citrix Receiver afterwards, as it gave the error below. I've since rebooted and tried to reinstall it, but it states:

Unable to complete the installation.

We have detected a previous installation of Citrix Workspace App.

Please remove all previous installations before continuing.

However the only method of attempting removal now is via the command prompt command:

Workspace

c:temp>CitrixWorkspaceApp.exe /uninstall

But doing this gives the error:

Citrix Workspace App has stopped working.

If I click to view problem details it states:
